Hi, I am Hitoshi Miyamoto. I am studying and teaching environmental issues on hydrosphere at Kobe University. My research interests have been focusing on the environmental fluid mechanics, which deals with physical problems in river, lake, reservoir, and coastal areas. I have investigated these problems mainly through laboratory experiments. In addition to these physical problems in waters, I am currently interested in basin scale water resources managements which relate the physical water circumstances with social activities of human beings.
